Shortest Time in School

Understand shortest time in school: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.

Years of schooling can mean the years adults have already completed or the years a child is expected to receive. Those measures describe different generations. Time enrolled also does not directly measure learning. Repetition, part-time study and the structure of national education systems can affect comparisons of duration.
