Most wildfires
Understand most wildfires: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.
Wildfire counts and burned area can move in different directions. Many small fires may burn less land than a few very large ones. Satellite detection also depends on resolution and observation conditions. Fire is part of some ecosystems, so interpreting damage requires information about intensity, location and what burned, not just an event total.
