Understand most un donations: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.
UN funding includes assessed contributions and voluntary contributions, and different UN bodies have separate budgets. Payments for peacekeeping are not the same as support for humanitarian agencies. A donor table therefore needs a defined set of organisations and funding categories. Pledges should also be distinguished from contributions actually received.
