Most Human Rights

Understand most human rights: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.

Human rights cannot be reduced to a single directly observed quantity. An index selects rights, gathers evidence and combines indicators using a particular method. Different indices can disagree because they examine different freedoms or weight them differently. A useful ranking names the index and edition, rather than implying that it provides a universal verdict on every aspect of life.
