Lowest CO2 Emissions

Understand lowest co2 emissions: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.

Emissions totals answer where the largest quantities are released. Per-person emissions answer a different question, and emissions embodied in imports can move responsibility between consumers and producers. Territorial fossil-fuel CO2 also excludes some sources covered by broader greenhouse-gas inventories. The gas, accounting boundary and year all belong beside a ranking.
