Highest Energy Consumption
Understand highest energy consumption: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.
Energy and electricity are not synonyms. Transport fuels and heat can contribute heavily to total energy use without passing through the electricity grid. Per-person comparisons also reflect climate and energy-intensive industries. A country hosting large industrial plants can have high use per resident even if household consumption is much less exceptional.
