Citizens that Travel the Most

Understand citizens that travel the most: what the measure counts, how to read it and where to check the source.

Visiting ten countries is partly a question of geography. Nearby borders can make several international trips possible over short distances, while a long domestic journey may cross none. The Pew survey asks respondents about countries visited, so it measures reported travel experience in the surveyed populations. It does not count journeys or establish a census of every country worldwide.

About the data

The saved ten countries and their order match the share of adults who had visited 10+ countries in Pew’s Spring 2023 survey. This ranks only the 24 countries surveyed, not every country worldwide. Checked 14 October 2026.

The Country10s question

Countries with the highest percentage of population that has travelled to 10+ countries.

(Apologies about the England/UK answer for yesterdays game :( ))
